About Enterprise Equity Northern Ireland

As a pioneering investor in Northern Ireland, Enterprise Equity is one of Northern Ireland's longest established fund managers, with an enviable investment record in both technology businesses such as BCO Technologies Ltd, as well as traditional industries such as Balcas.

Enterprise Equity was originally established as an evergreen investment fund in 1987 by the International Fund for Ireland. Since the initial Ł7 million capitalisation in 1987, Ł28 million has been invested in 40 companies producing a very attractive return after covering running costs and considerable taxes.

In 2008, the Enterprise Equity Team conducted its own management buy-out of the fund management business from the International Fund for Ireland.

Investment professionals

	Aidan Langan CEO, is a Chartered Engineer by background. Following three years developing the Industrial Development Board's operations in the Far East, he returned to Northern Ireland in 1992 where he was responsible for a number ot the IDB's more significant inward investment projects. He has 10 years experience in the venture capital industry in Northern Ireland.
	Brian Cummings Director, is a Business I.T. graduate and holds an MBA from the Smurfit School of Business. Before joining Enterprise Equity, Brian was with the Survitec Group where he gained extensive sales and marketing experience through local and international postings. Supporting Survitec’s acquisitions programme, he was also intimately involved with its subsequent Institutional Buy-Out from its previous VC owners.
	Olivia McGivern Office Manager, is responsible for the daily running of the office. Olivia is personal assistant to the CEO and supports the Investment Managers with portfolio administration.
	Joanne Robinson Joanne has 25 years experience in the financial sector, spanning the London, Dublin and Luxembourg markets. She has extensive experience in fund administration, software service provision, sales and relationship management. Before joining EENI Jo was Vice President at The Bank of New York in London.
