Our Approach

We look to invest in businesses that have grown successfully in recent years and have a desire to go even further. Whether you are looking to release value, organise an MBO, or manage an exit plan, we approach every situation in close partnership with the people who run and manage the company.

We typically provide between Ł250,000 and Ł2.0 million of equity capital for management buy-outs, buy-ins and growth capital in expanding businesses based in Northern Ireland.

But it’s about more than investing money.

We are a partner that combines an ambitious, entrepreneurial spirit with experience and a thorough knowledge of what it takes to reach the next level. It’s an investment of effort, time and emotion in the people and their businesses that we believe in.

It is this combination that drives businesses forward. We are committed, not only to grow the business, but to do so in close partnership with the management team. We generate a shared understanding of what makes the business unique and are responsive to the aspirations of the founders and owners.

We will usually take a seat on the board and will work closely with management to help the business with its strategic plans, to provide financial support for further appropriate organic and acquisitive expansion and provide further support through our network where appropriate.
