Intelesens in Silicon Valley
Intelesens has been selected as one of only seven Technology companies from the island of Ireland to present at the Irish Technology Leadership Group - ITLG - 4th Annual Silicon Valley Awards to be held at Stanford University in San Jose California, on April 5th. Intelesens will compete for The Most Promising Company Award along with imeeGOLF from Galway and AirPOS Ltd based in Belfast. The event is hosted by ITLG Chairman and former Chaiman of Intel, Dr. Craig Barrett and Emily Chang of Bloomberg TV.
Intelesens CEO Michael Caulfield will represent the company at the event and is also a speaker later that week at the Biolink West 2011 Irish Technology Showcase on April 6 in San Francisco.
Both events provide Intelesens with the opportunity to promote Intelesens's ground-breaking, wearable health monitoring technology, originally developed in Northern Ireland's University of Ulster, to a hugely influential Silicon Valley business and technology group. Intelesens expects to achieve FDA regulatory approval for its wearable ubiquitous patient monitor, Aingeal, in the coming weeks. The USA healthcare sector is one of Intelesens's key target markets.
