Intelesens unveils new wearable wireless Holter feature at Medica 2010 in Dusseldorf
Intelesens, who has already developed wearable wireless vital signs monitoring devices for both home use, the V-Patch Cardiac Event Monitor and Aingeal, its in-hospital multi-parameter wi-fi monitor, will unveil its Inteleholter device designed to provide not only exceptional event detection and aleThe miniaturised device which clips on to a disposable adhesive electrode patch will monitor for lethal arrhythmias and other out of normal events, transmitting information wirelessly to a remote pc. During the 7-day monitoring session, the new device will also be capable of recording full interpretive 3-lead ecg data for later download and analysis by a cardiologist or for submission to holter analysis software.
This important new feature is expected to have CE regulatory approval this year and FDA approval during 2011.
